My name is Linda Vue and I'm a best friend of Claireece Precious Jones. We've known each other since diapers. My advice for Precious after I've found out she was rapped by her father was to live with me and my mother but she seemed like she wasn't interested. She seemed like she was scared my mother and I were not going to accept her. My mother and Precious's mother, Mary Jones, were close friends but they have falling apart since Mary got married to Carl Kenwood Jones.
But since Precious don't want to live with us, I've tried to visit her as much as I can. Just so her father could not do anything to her. But when I'm over I tried to be aware of the fact that her father was a rapist. I was scared to see her father, I've never said hi to him whenever I visit Precious. I can tell her mother hates me for going over too much, but she doesn't say it to me. I really want to report her father but than I feel Precious still wants a father and she don't want to see her mother suffer.
I believe Ms. Rain could help her a lot, since she's a grown up. But Precious tend to judge people quick on their action. But Ms. Rain tries her hardest to help her with anything.

Book Blog #4
At this moment Precious had gave birth to her son, Abdul Jamal Louis Jones. She is on break after birth before she could return to school. But she has been writing her journal back and forth with Miz Rain confessing about what's been going with her in life and school.
My reaction to this point is shocking because Precious have never liked any of her teachers, but it turns out that Miz Rain had made a huge impact in her and changed her to become a better person herself. I give Precious props for actually communicating with Miz Rain although Precious is on break. This reminds me of me because for me to be able to learn better I need to get to know my teacher better to understand what I am really learning in class.
I believe after the letters back and forth between Precious and Miz Rain will soon change Precious to become a better person and focus in class more. She will soon be closer to Miz Rain and that way she can help Precious more to get her G.E.D. I believe Precious will succeed and be with her kids more often after talking to Miz Rain.
What will Precious do next? Will Precious be more aggressive towards the students who have been mean to her when she return back to school?

Book Blog #3
Although my daughter Precious has two baby from her father, Carl Kenwood Jones I am still willing to accept her. But I will not allow her to see her father anymore. This has become overboard, and I can't handle the situation going on here. I want my daughter to keep her daughter with us, but at this point she is still too young to handle her two babies alone. I will allow Precious to keep her babies after she turns 18 and had graduated from high school. In this way she has learn to take her own responsibilities and I won't have to worry about her much. Why did Carl chose my daughter instead of any other woman out there? Does Carl really care for my feelings? Will Carl ever learn from his mistakes?

Book Blog #2
My reaction towards the book is shocking and it caught my attention when Claireece Precious Jones, Sixteen years old, mother was communicating with her badly. She had found out that Precious was pregnant, although she was pregnant the mother should of asked her nicely instead of abusing her. The main character right now is Precious, her mother, her father, Mr Wicher and Mrs. Lichenstein. Precious and her family are black and Mr. Wicher and Mrs. Lichenstein are white. The live 134th Street between Lenox
Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. The problem is that Precious got her first baby at age 12 and had her second baby at age 16 from her father, Carl Kenwood Jones. Precious's mother is very abusive and mean towards her.

I chose the book PUSH, because when I read the back of the book the most interesting part that caught my attention was when her father had raped her and also got her pregnant. Also the first thing that came to my mind was the movie "Precious" that I had once watched before, so I figure the book was mainly the same as the movie. Dalashea and Robdu are in my group. The group norms and expectations are to keep together and not go ahead. We are expected to be assigned with five roles and we must be done with our worksheet roles by the time we have our book club meeting.
