My reaction towards the book is shocking and it caught my attention when Claireece Precious Jones, Sixteen years old, mother was communicating with her badly. She had found out that Precious was pregnant, although she was pregnant the mother should of asked her nicely instead of abusing her. The main character right now is Precious, her mother, her father, Mr Wicher and Mrs. Lichenstein. Precious and her family are black and Mr. Wicher and Mrs. Lichenstein are white. The live 134th Street between Lenox
Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. The problem is that Precious got her first baby at age 12 and had her second baby at age 16 from her father,  Carl Kenwood Jones. Precious's mother is very abusive and mean towards her.
